one good thing about our hostel is that we are near most of the must-see landmarks for first-time tourists.

the camera museum, for one.

but we were too giam with our money to pay entry for more exhibits, and with our time to spend more time there, hahaha.

we also went to the penang state museum.

though it wasnt the most well-maintained, or entertaining museum i’ve been to, it was interesting to learn more about a city that shares a similar history with our own.

other than the touristy spots, the main thing i love about penang is how everywhere is either full of historical and cultural elements, making it look so much like olden days singapore, or exudes an artistic feel that makes good backdrop for pretty photos.
