a piece of beijing a day (IV)

Posted by: lemonbarleystrawberry on: May 20, 2012

below are some of the MUST-HAVE photos as a tourist in foreign land, for your reference.

1. jump shots

2. cheesy poses

3. shots at entrances and doors

4. goofy expressions

5. and loads and loads of camwhore photos that feature your face more than the place itself

all camwhore photos look the same. and the backgrounds arent even anything special.

but everyone does it anyway.

hahahaha.

a piece of beijing a day (III)

Posted by: lemonbarleystrawberry on: May 20, 2012

i hope i will be able to catch up with my photos upload in two weeks, in time for another holiday, another influx of photos.

life is good, WOOT!

how to keep sane when insanely busy

Posted by: lemonbarleystrawberry on: May 19, 2012

1. mobile phone

keep your mobile phone alive at all times. make sure it’s fully charged when you leave the house, as you will need to use it to run your life.

you will be surprised how handy your mobile phone is. you catch up on videos (if you are juggling survivor, family guy, glee, big bang theory, misfits the way i do, you will know what i mean); look for new places for appointments and dates; locate yourself when you get lost; search for phone numbers to message / call people when you need to outsource (refer to point #2); make facial appointments; check in for flights; make reservations at restaurants; check emails; update yourself about friends on facebook before meeting them and as you can see here, blog on the go.

2. outsourcing

if there is anything you cant do in time, OUTSOURCE! you will find that it’s surprisingly easy to be shamelessly reliant on family and friends when you are desperate. just be polite when asking for anything, and remember everyone who has helped you, be thankful and find opportunities to repay them.

3. organiser

i recognise the importance of having an organiser ever since i was a teenager. without my organiser, i will be more blur than i already am, a complete walking disaster and people wont see me around much, for i will just keep missing appointments.

4. zenness

as difficult as it may be, stay CALM, especially when you have deadlines to rush or things dont get done or you lose your way. keep chanting to yourself that everything is under control and you will be alright. law of attraction will make it work, so keep calm and carry on.

and one very important rule that will help simplify things: any problem that can be solved by money is not a problem.

and for everything else, there’s mastercard.

shepard wannabe

Posted by: lemonbarleystrawberry on: May 16, 2012

chasing after sheep was fun max.

maybe i should be a shepard when i retire.

each of this sheep costs RMB1000 (approximately SGD200), fyi.

and all they do is to eat grass and be chased after.

maybe i should be a sheep instead.

HAHAHAHA!

oh sweet lemon

no wonder the world's looking at you

hello you there
