let’s celebrate sundays!!!

with all-day breakfast dishes!!!
may and i decided to check out the widely acclaimed epicurious cafe at robertson quay on our spontaneous sunday cafe hunting trip.
as expected, the cafe was way too crowded in the afternoon.
but to our disappointment, service wasnt very satisfactory, quite unlike most of the other popular “home-grown” cafes i’ve gone to.
other than two indian waiters with a welcoming , the rest of the crew looked rather grumpy (just as shown in picture).
escaped the cafe when the cooking smell got rather overwhelming.
and went to lim kopi at a nearby cafe called smitten.
i am not really a coffee person but i enjoyed the iced mocha at this little coffee joint may recommended.
though not as sweet as i would like it, the coffee’s thickness and fragrance was quite pleasing to the palate.
on the other hand, may’s kopi o kosong was…erm, bitter, that’s all i can say. hahaha…
so for fellow coffee noobs, you might want to save the cafe owner (a real coffee connoisseur, i heard?) the trouble and just go for one of these cheery looking erm…juices.
phew…all sunday afternoons should be like that.
a time to take a breather, wind down from the week’s hassles and chat comfortably with a trusted confidante.
所谓一生能求几知己啊! hahaha…so thanks may, for everything, 一切尽在不言中!
