my new occupation: cafe hunter.

i seek out new, whimsical, secluded cafes for lucky people with free afternoons to burn.

and sometimes, i get good company to come along with me on my missions.

wild honey.

needs no more introduction, of course. famous for its all-day breakfast from all around the world.

this time, i had something from california.

and here i have with me, wei li.

friend and course mate from ntu. the last time we came together for a good meal was when we were still at internship.

now that we have finally found the time to meet for lunch again, of course we wont settle for just anything.

and wild honey naturally became the best choice.

on sunday, i met up with may for a quiet sunday brunch at duxton hill.

love the shophouses.

like stepping into another world.

here we are.

where they make all the good coffees and delicious snacks, like these…

and such a cosy place.

like walking into someone’s home.

with cute rocking chairs.

it is no wonder that may and i actually spent the whole afternoon lounging there, talking about well…life. hahaha.

after the rain stopped, we explored the streets and its many interesting shops.

like those that seem extraordinarily welcoming.

and those with cute overhead mobiles and awesome books.

sunday can never be better.

on a side note, i just discovered the famous beef balls from ntu canteen 2 and am eating it every time i have to go back to ntu to give tuition.

it’s AWESOMEEEEEEE, i tell you!!!

oh yeah, that’s it.

and now that i’m filling myself with good food almost everyday, it’s time for some serious workout.

and with such happy colours on the stairs, it’s not hard to get started!

ooh everywhere should be splashed with colours like these!!!!
