like finally.
this is the prelude of my last project.
and the project itself will commence in…yap about 12 hours’ time.
KRABI, HERE I COME!!!
GET SUNKISSED
as if you cant do it in singapore right? hahaha…but i think my point is…i do need a holiday and so, I SHALL GO ON ONE!!!
it is not a grad trip, not very extravagant and glamorous.
but i KNOW that it will be just as fun and memorable, if not more.
it’s like an extended pamper-me time, long awaited and well deserved. and an anniversary gift from kingsley.
i decided to list it as my last project, rather than having my hair curled as initially planned because…i feel it is more hmm…meaningful.
we all know how life-changing a new hairstyle can be (which is why i wanted to do it for TAKE*5); but it’s superficial, almost transient.
trends change, hair grow (yes, even mine, though it takes years) and a different appearance, even a beautiful one, can cheer you up or change you only to a certain extent.
my journey in the TAKE*5 project requires (and deserves) a more well-rounded, wholesome and impactful ending.
one that can help me revise and relive the weeks i’ve spent appreciating and learning about life and more importantly, enriching and loving myself.
and so, i decided to prescribe myself a holiday in an exotic, peaceful island far away from here.
and the best part of it?
the boyfriend, despite his jet lag and apprehension about sitting on a plane not flown by himself, is coming with me and sponsoring me for most part of the trip.
nothing more i can ask for, really.
♥ ♥ ♥
this is the first time i’m planning a holiday on my own.
in my previous travelling experience, everything was well taken care of by my parents and friends.
so in the planning process, i was feeling rather confused and frustrated.
there is a wide variety of options in pretty much everything like flights, hotels, activities, food (have to be extra careful especially after the food poisoning episode the other time), places of interest etc and i realised that i dont even know where my plane flies to (for a while, i misunderstood phi phi island as part of mainland krabi).
but problems untangled on their own, like in all other TAKE*5 projects. many friends came to my rescue (as usual) and after even MORE research (eek!), i finally figured out most of the stuff and felt a lot better (read: relieved).
now, all that’s left to do is pack my bag, a problem of its own because kingsley reminded me to pack light, perhaps forgetting that I AM A GIRL, and it’s making me feel rather stressed.
but still, i’m pretty EXCITED.
12 hours, and i will be embarking on my tenth and final project of TAKE*5.
it’s going to be good, you shall see!
till then!!!!
